Have been using Mathematica since version 2.2. Programmed "The Essence of Chaos" by Edward N. Lorenz and posted on http://arxiv.org/abs/0910.2213l as a pdf (Happy to send the Mathematica program on request (rmlurie@alum.mit.edu). My programming works, but it doesn't meet the "standards" of publishing in the Mathematical Journal (although it was accepted, but not yet published) If anyone wants to bring it up to "standard" they certainly can be a co-author!!

Career was as a chemical engineer, especially in materials development. MIT '52 and '55.

At 83 still moving. Also long time member of the Harvard Institute for Learning in Retirement where I have run study groups on chaos, risk, photography, history of materials.
