quantization of this hamiltonian?

let be the Hamiltonian $ H=f(xp) $ if we consider canonical quantization so $ f( -ix \frac{d}{dx}-\frac{i}{2})\phi(x)= E_{n} \phi(x)$ here 'f' is a real valued function so i believe that $ f(xp) $ is an Hermitian operator, however How could i solve…

Geometric quantization of field theories and resulting statistics

Linear field theories Linear field theories form the classical counterparts to many important QFT's in condensed matter physics, modeling a wide range of materials, from the mundane (semiconductors), to the exotic (topological insulators and…

Experimental verification of quantization

I understand quantization as a map from Symplectic Manifolds $M$ (either finite dimensional or not) to Hilbert Spaces $H$, along with a rule that attach to every function $F$ in $M$ a hermitian operator $A_F$ in $H$. Dirac proposed that the map…
