I have a master's degree in Materials Science Engineering. Research experience includes experiment & bit of simulation in nano-scale & solid-state physics. Just before my research was complete, I got out and attempted to sell a prototype - a quantum device very loosely based on my research. Well that didn't pan out the way I hoped at all. Along the way, I have taken numerous physics courses which are restricted to mostly 'down-to-earth' physics like classical mech, statmech, normal quantum mech, semiconductors, materials physics and optics.
I was accepted to a PhD Biophysics program as a back up plan. But I turned that down.
I've since left science & technology altogether. Then started working as a software developer for quite sometime just to support myself. Now working towards an Artificial Intelligence project/start up. My current work is in Speech Processing, Voice Emulation and Music Synthesis.
