Master's physics (Hons.)

Hi! My core interest is in the physics of waves, quantum and statistical mechanics. I am pretty curious to know more about this universe and learn the core concepts very well so as to be a good researcher.

I want to get a good grasp of theoretical ideas that form the basis of a deeper understanding. My effort would be to get good pedagogical answers that help build a sound conceptual basis and a solid foundation to build a physicist's career. I like to independently read up on popular science and also try some advanced textbooks like Sakurai's or Shankar's Quantum mechanics books or Nakahara's Topology, Geometry and Physics (although i do not understand most of it!).
